In December, students enrolled in the Applied Learning Course – Multimedia Storytelling embarked on an immersive two-day UI/UX Gamification Design bootcamp.
This bootcamp combined the exciting world of card games with essential design principles. It focused on the concept of gamification, which involves incorporating game-like elements into everyday experiences to make them more enjoyable and motivating. Through hands-on activities, students applied the design thinking framework to create a physical card game, fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Not only did the bootcamp provide practical experience in game design, but it also equipped students with the ability to apply gamification principles to products and services. This invaluable skill set will serve as a solid foundation for their future career development, enabling them to approach problem-solving with a design thinking mindset.
