CLAP-TECH recently organised two study tours to Singapore for students of the Applied Learning Course in Tech Basics*. These excursions offered a deep dive into Singapore’s rich culture and history. Conducted over four days in May, the students explored renowned sites including Future World and Digital Light Canvas exhibitions by Teamlab, Merlion Park, and Theatres on the Bay – Esplanade.
The itinerary also featured educational visits to the National University of Singapore and the Singapore City Gallery, along with the Science Centre Singapore. A practical robotics workshop not only sharpened their technical prowess but also stimulated their creative thinking.
The visit to the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore’s principal provider of career and technical education, was a highlight of the tour. Engaging with ITE students, students gained valuable insights and a deeper respect for the rich tapestry of diverse cultures.
