Over the summer, students in the Applied Learning Course – Multimedia Storytelling participated in a three-day bootcamp at the M21 multimedia centre in Aberdeen. Led by experienced instructors, the bootcamp covered every aspect of content creation, from developing compelling ideas and scriptwriting to pre-production, video shooting, and post-production. Working in groups, students brought their ideas to life, creating their own captivating mini-videos.
A highlight of the camp was a sharing session by renowned movie director Eric Tsang. Mr. Tsang, the director of the acclaimed movie Hong Kong Family, shared his personal journey and passion for filmmaking. His inspiring words encouraged students to pursue their dreams fearlessly.
The bootcamp offers students invaluable insights into the realm of creative media. By learning directly from industry professionals, students were empowered to make informed decisions about their future careers, based on their interests and skills.
