Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as part of the Jockey Club Multiple Pathways Initiative, CLAP-TECH Pathway is a tripartite collaboration among three parties – Hong Kong Baptist University, industry partners and secondary schools, connecting from school to work. Students at CLAP-TECH Pathway will go through a non-conventional mode of learning at schools, which will equip them with practical skills and workplace experiences. The new applied learning course ‘Tech Basics’ acts as the start of the 5 years study journey, leading to a higher diploma specialised in AI with Cybersecurity or Data Analytics prepared by HKBU that offers distinct articulation pathway to students. By closing the gap between education and workplace, CLAP-TECH Pathway graduates are expected to be more career and academically ready in this new digital age.
