Jockey Club Multiple Pathways Initiative – CLAP-TECH Pathway recently welcomed a group of students and teachers from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore as part of a study tour in Hong Kong.
During their visit, the ITE group participated in a campus tour of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), attended a taster lecture on Data Analysis, and engaged in a design thinking workshop. CLAP-TECH Pathway student representatives hosted the ITE group and shared their VPET (Vocational, Professional Education and Training) learning journey in mainstream education locally.
This visit was not the first collaboration between CLAP-TECH Pathway and ITE. Earlier this year, CLAP-TECH Pathway students and teachers visited ITE in Singapore as part of their own study tours. These exchange programmes provide valuable learning experiences for students and teachers, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and develop skills and knowledge that will prepare them for success in their future careers.
